HOW LONG Do I Use My Vibration Plate For to Get the Benefits I Want?
If hoping to just stand and let your plate run for it's preset 10 mins doing it's thing, you like many may end up overdoing it regardless of your current level of conditioning. Skip the manual and follow my tips!

Every time I think I’ve covered all the questions you could ever have about vibration plates, there’s always some that need a reminder, some clarity and more reinforcement.
The common question of “how long” to use your plate relates directly to what you are trying to accomplish and where your overall health is at. If you are not coming from a place of being regularly active or have chronic issues PLEASE be conservative to start.
I wish I could tell you to just stand there, hit start, do your 10 minute shake and VOILA! There is no “miracle pill setting”, using the full preset time every time, taking on more intensity right away (wide feet) is not going to lead to a positive experience - especially if you’re dealing with poor lymphatics/circulation or any chronic issues.
Using a vibration plate is not something you need to “push through”, endure pain while using one or be left in agony for days afterwards. For the same reasons you’d work with a trainer or a therapist you may need help with a realistic “plan” for your goals and body. Starting out at max time and intensity is not a starting point…
Listen to your body, know your limits and be honest with yourself in your level of conditioning. Forget what everybody else is doing - follow my starting tips.
Excessive movement - TOO MUCH exercise/activity, hyperactivity, restlessness, even too much massage can lead to signs you’re overdoing it. No different using a vibration plate. This list is extensive but I wanted to cover what we often dismiss. Be mindful of;
Excessive Fatigue – Feeling constantly drained/tired even after rest.
Muscle Soreness/Pain – Overuse/work of muscles without enough recovery.
Joint Pain/Swelling – Increased strain, wear and tear on joints.
Decreased performance – Slowed progress or reduced strength/endurance.
Frequent Injuries – Increased risk of strains, stress fractures, or joint pain.
Dizziness/Nausea/Headaches – Overexertion and/or ramped up detoxification.
Increased Heart Rate – Working too hard/long. Resting rate stays elevated.
Dehydration – Loss of fluids from excessive sweating, lymph drainage.
Nausea/Light-Headed – as toxins move/release and circulation changes.
Poor/Disturbed Sleep – Trouble falling/staying asleep, restless legs, up to pee.
Cognitive/Mood Change – Irritability, anxiety, restlessness, depression, etc
Increased Urination – As the body flushes out excess fluids.
Diarrhea or Digestive Issues – A reaction to detoxification.
Swelling/Puffiness – Temporary lymph fluid shifts/congestion in the body.
Weaker Immune System – Getting more frequent colds or infections.
If experiencing any of these, reflect on what you’ve been doing. Ensure you’re adequately resting/recovering, hydrating, and balancing activity with other physical/mental demands. Give your body time to adjust to whatever changes you are making.
What types of poses, time, intensity and speed settings on your vibration plate will vary whether you’re managing symptoms, looking for fitness gains, feel good or all of it!
