Less is More - New or Returning Users Commonly Do Too Much Starting Out.

Before jumping on for your first "shake", remember that a vibration plate brings more benefit - in less time - compared to regular activity, and it's easy to over do it. Please skip the manual and follow my tips if you are a newbie or returning user.

To those already familiar with my approach to using a plate - know I appreciate your patience on my “reminders”. They’re necessary for my new users, but also my way of helping you be mindful of those early lessons, the “newbie” things.

It’s easy to forget where we started, and how far we’ve progressed. Many of the “soft” benefits you get with regular use, the pain and swelling relief, the energy it gives you, the better balance, we don’t always recognize - until we’ve taken an extended break. You have a different appreciation for the benefits you’ve been getting, and you miss using it, crave it many have said because it made you feel “good’.

CAUTION to returning users AND any newbies reading along, be conservative in starting out or returning to use. Your body needs time to get used to this new stimulus, it turbo boosts circulation and lymphatic flow, and accelerate exercise effects. LESS IS MORE!

LESS Time MORE Often - try short, 3-5 mins sessions more frequently for the first week or two. This is a great approach for moving lymph, increasing circulation, improving balance/stability and to boost energy and even your mood! Think of these as little “spot treatments” and let your body and the symptoms it presents drive when you need a fix.

LESS Intensity MORE Speed - in oscillating movement, intensity(amplitude) is controlled by how wide or how close your feet/hands are positioned. Wide is more movement, and more impact, closer reduces this. Try a closer stance, no more than hip wide apart (or closer) and compliment this with a FASTER speed. The slower, lower third of your speed levels are choppy, almost jarring and I think you’ll find faster feels smoother, more comfortable, the soothing relief you are looking for.
